One of the original top quality coffee shops in Mérida. Excellent location just a block way from the central plaza. Large interior patio to enjoy the coffee as well as a small indoor annex if the weather is too hot. Prices are really good considering the quality of coffee and location.

Cordemex location

Easy to miss this unremarkable looking coffee shop located  next to the Post Office on the opposite side of Paseo Montejo Prolongación from the Museo Maya. The excellent coffee is among the very best in Mérida. Although small, the place is cozy and the staff are friendly and welcoming.  In terms of value for money Condesa is hands down the best in Mérida for good coffee. While many places charge 70-80 pesos for a cappuccino Condesa charge around 50pesos. The quality is every bit as good as in the more expensive places. Easy to reach by buses. It’s on the main route of several VayVen buses as well as others heading to Gran Plaza, Tapetes and Faculty of Engineering.
